This movie doesn't belong to single class. It has thrill, action, drama and romance. Psychological thrillers freak me out more than anything else, and this one definitely did it. The face stab!!! Visually, stunning. <br /><br />And I know! I love Portman. Always. She's brilliant. And she's short, which makes me happy, because I'm all of 5"2 and therefore love short heroines. But she's a firecracker, and so deserved that Oscar.M. And maybe punched that person in the face for insulting me.<br /><br />But yet, "Black Swan" was one of my favorite films of last year. I liked the fact that, like in the later 'Sucker Punch', we viewed the film from Nina's perspective. And since she was clearly mentally unstable, you can never know what's "reality" and what's not. I've seen many interesting theories explaining the film, and the beauty of them is all can be true, or none. And the best part is: it doesn't matter, for whichever way you take it, "Black Swan" doesn't lose it's value.<br /><br />And the scene when Nina calls her mother in the bathroom after she got the part - that bit alone was enough for her to deserve the Oscar in my eyes.Shafthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08941535851365874324noreply@blogger.com
